Sir Ravensworth was first seen in Edgar Allen Poe's poem The Raven.
Sir Phillip Ravensworth is a raven capable of speaking English. He spent most of the nineteenth century harrassing widowers about their lost loves. He found Ravensworth Manor, owned by the real Sir Phillip Ravensworth, the narrator from the poem, and decided to stay there as well as take Sir Ravensworth's name. He is still there today, and the CPA meetings are held in the Manor's study.
